> [!title|noicon] **Portraits of Christ across Scripture: Demonstrations of God's Finished Work in Eternity**
<font size=4>10.29.2026<br><br></font>
*And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.* ([Lk 24:27](Luke%2024.md#^27))
*And he said unto them, These [are] the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and [in] the prophets, and [in] the psalms, concerning me.* ([Lk 24:44](Luke%2024.md#^44))
*Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.* ([Jn 5:39](John%205.md#^39))

The physical theater of space and time functions as a temporary, representative canopy designed by God to manifest a redemption that was legally completed before the foundation of the world ([Eph 1:4](Ephesians%201.md#^4); [Rev 13:8](Revelation%2013.md#^8); [Isa 40:22](Isaiah%2040.md#^22)). History is not an unscripted, linear evolution, but the systematic unrolling of an eternal decree established in the mind of God ([2 Tim 1:9](2%20Timothy%201.md#^9); [Isa 46:10](Isaiah%2046.md#^10)). Throughout the Old and New Testaments, historical figures, sanctuary patterns, and physical events serve as precise Christological types -- lower-dimensional shadows printed upon the canvas of creation to demonstrate the unearned grace, substitutionary atonement, and sovereign victory of Jesus Christ ([Col 2:17](Colossians%202.md#^17); [Heb 10:1](Hebrews%2010.md#^1)). That is, God created this universe and sovereignly guided history to specifically and precisely record it in His Word according to His eternal Purpose.

**Creation, Light, and the Piercing of Spiritual Darkness**
In the foundational blueprint of Genesis, the earth lay formless, void, and shrouded in darkness upon the face of the deep ([Gen 1:2](Genesis%201.md#^2)). When the Spirit of God moved upon the waters and God commanded light to shine out of darkness, He established the spiritual prototype for monergistic regeneration ([Gen 1:3](Genesis%201.md#^3)). The Apostle Paul connects this initial creation act directly to salvation, declaring that the *"God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ"* ([2 Cor 4:6](2%20Corinthians%204.md#^6)). Just as physical light was spoken into non-existence by sovereign fiat without human assistance, spiritual life is imparted through the unmediated, creative power of the resurrected Word.

**Adam, Eve, and the Covering of Imputed Righteousness**
Adam serves as the figure of Him that was to come, the Second Adam who represents His elect host ([Rom 5:14](Romans%205.md#^14); [1 Cor 15:45](1%20Corinthians%2015.md#^45)). The formation of Eve unseals the mystery of Christ and His Bride ([Eph 5:31](Ephesians%205.md#^31), [32](Ephesians%205.md#^32)). God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and while he slept, took one of his ribs to fashion the woman ([Gen 2:21](Genesis%202.md#^21), [22](Genesis%202.md#^22)). Adam's deep sleep prefigures the substitutionary death of Christ on the cross (demonstrating His finished Work in eternity), out of whose pierced side the eternal Church, the Bride of Christ, was birthed ([Jn 19:34](John%2019.md#^34)). Furthermore, following their transgression, when Adam and Eve attempted to cover their nakedness with self-sewn fig leaves representing human religious works, God stripped away their futile garments and clothed them in coats of skins ([Gen 3:7](Genesis%203.md#^7), [21](Genesis%203.md#^21)). This establishes that salvation requires blood atonement and the imputed garment of Christ's righteousness to cover spiritual nakedness ([Isa 61:10](Isaiah%2061.md#^10); [Heb 9:22](Hebrews%209.md#^22)).

**The Edenic River and the Universal Reach of Grace**
The river going out of Eden to water the garden parted into four heads -- Pison, Gihon, Hiddekel, and Euphrates -- to reach across the quarters of the earth, including Havilah and Cush ([Gen 2:10-14](Genesis%202.md)). In sanctuary typology, this river prefigures the unmediated flow of Gospel grace proceeding from the throne of God to water the spiritual inheritance ([Zech 14:8](Zechariah%2014.md#^8); [Eze 47:1](Ezekiel%2047.md#^1)). John beholds its ultimate fulfillment in Revelation as a pure river of water of Life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb ([Rev 22:1](Revelation%2022.md#^1)). The four heads represent the global publication of the King's decree of life to the four corners of the earth, bypassing bankrupt human institutions to reach outcasts in every nation, kindred, tongue, and people ([Rev 7:9](Revelation%207.md#^9)).

**Abel’s Offering and Accepted Blood Atonement**
Abel, a keeper of sheep, brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof, offering a substitutionary blood sacrifice that God accepted over Cain's bloodless, agricultural works of human work/sweat ([Gen 4:2](Genesis%204.md#^2), [3](Genesis%204.md#^3), [4](Genesis%204.md#^4), [5](Genesis%204.md#^5)). By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous in and through Christ's sacrifice ([Heb 11:4](Hebrews%2011.md#^4)). Abel stands as a type of Christ, the innocent Shepherd slain by His envious brethren ([Mt 23:35](Matthew%2023.md#^35)). Abel’s blood cried from the ground for judicial vengeance, but the shed blood of Jesus Christ speaks better things than that of Abel, declaring eternal pardon and peace for the elect before the throne of justice ([Heb 12:24](Hebrews%2012.md#^24)).

**Noah, the Ark of Atonement, and the Sanctuary Vessel**
Noah, whose name signifies Comfort or Rest ([Gen 5:29](Genesis%205.md#^29)), prefigures Christ as the true Comforter who delivers His people from the curse of the Law ([Gen 3:17](Genesis%203.md#^17) vs [Heb 4:9](Hebrews%204.md#^9), [10](Hebrews%204.md#^10)). Noah constructed an ark to the saving of his house, commanded to pitch it within and without with pitch ([Gen 6:14](Genesis%206.md#^14); [Heb 11:7](Hebrews%2011.md#^7)). The Hebrew word for pitch there (*kopher*) is the exact term for ransom and atonement (*kaphar*), revealing that the Ark represents being in Christ, double-covered and insulated against the deluge of divine wrath ([Job 33:24](Job%2033.md#^24); [Rom 5:9](Romans%205.md#^9)). The Ark featured a single window finished above in noonday light (the Hebrew word there, *tsohar*, is actually the word for *noonday*, not window, pointing to the Light of Christ in a world of darkness - [Job 11:17](Job%2011.md#^17); [Isa 58:10](Isaiah%2058.md#^10)) and a single side door, pointing to Christ as the sole Door of salvation ([Gen 6:16](Genesis%206.md#^16); [Jn 10:7](John%2010.md#^7), [9](John%2010.md#^9)). Across Scripture, ships also function as sanctuary vessels preserving the elect safely above the raging waters of judgment ([Mt 13:2](Matthew%2013.md#^2); [Mk 4:1](Mark%204.md#^1)). Conversely, those who turn away from the Gospel make *shipwreck* of the faith ([1 Tim 1:19](1%20Timothy%201.md#^19)).

**Abraham, Isaac, and the Found Ransom at Moriah**
Abraham offering up his only son whom he loved on Mount Moriah provides one of the clearest Old Testament portraits of God the Father yielding His Son at Calvary ([Gen 22:1](Genesis%2022.md#^1), [2](Genesis%2022.md#^2); [Jn 3:16](John%203.md#^16)). Notice God emphasizes Isaac as Abraham's only (remaining) son here in this context, as Ishmael had been sent away. Isaac carrying the wood up the mountain prefigures Christ bearing His own cross in the likeness of sinful flesh ([Gen22:6](Genesis%2022.md#^6); [Jn 19:17](John%2019.md#^17)). When Isaac inquired concerning the lamb, Abraham prophesied that God will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering ([Gen 22:7](Genesis%2022.md#^7), [Gen 22:8](Genesis%2022.md#^8)). At the absolute brink of execution, the angel of the Lord stayed Abraham's hand and revealed a ram caught in a thicket by his horns, which Abraham offered in the stead of his son ([Gen 22:11](Genesis%2022.md#^11), [12](Genesis%2022.md#^12), [13](Genesis%2022.md#^13)). This physical exchange manifests the Found Ransom ([Job 33:24](Job%2033.md#^24)), demonstrating that God provided a substitutionary Lamb established in eternity to satisfy the Law's sentence of death ([Rev 13:8](Revelation%2013.md#^8)).

**Joseph: The Rejected Brother Exalted to Preserve Life**
Joseph, the beloved son of Jacob, was hated by his brethren for dreaming they would bow to him, stripped of his coat of many colors (the rainbow signifying the token of God's Covenant of salvation - [Gen 9:13](Genesis%209.md#^13); [Rev 4:3](Revelation%204.md#^3)), cast into a pit, and sold for silver pieces to Gentiles ([Gen 37:3-28](Genesis%2037.md)). Exalted out of Egyptian prison to sit at the right hand of Pharaoh, Joseph was given a new name signifying Savior of the Age and received a Gentile bride ([Gen 41:38-45](Genesis%2041.md)). This points to Christ as He was cast into the spiritual pit of judgment although He Himself was innocent, like Joseph, to be exalted above every name under Heaven.
When severe famine struck the earth, Joseph's brethren, in dire need of bread, came and bowed before him without recognizing him, fulfilling his prophetic dreams ([Gen 42:6](Genesis%2042.md#^6), [43:26](Genesis%2043.md#^26)). Joseph weeping over his contrite brethren and declaring that God sent him before them to preserve life unseals Christ rejected by His people, exalted to the celestial throne, and dispensing the unearned Bread of Life to save an elect remnant of sinners during time of severe famine in the world ([Gen 45:5](Genesis%2045.md#^5), [6](Genesis%2045.md#^6), [7](Genesis%2045.md#^7), [50:20](Genesis%2050.md#^20); [Acts 2:23](Acts%202.md#^23), [24](Acts%202.md#^24)).

**The Butler and Baker: The Two Covenants in the Theater of Death**
While imprisoned in Egypt, Joseph interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh's chief butler and chief baker (representing bread and wine), executing a precise one taken, the other left judgment ([Gen 40:1-22](Genesis%2040.md)). The butler dreamed of a vine with three branches that brought forth ripe grapes, which he pressed into Pharaoh's cup, prefiguring restoration through the True Vine and the blood of the Covenant of Grace ([Gen 40:9](Genesis%2040.md#^9), [10](Genesis%2040.md#^10), [11](Genesis%2040.md#^11), [12](Genesis%2040.md#^12), [13](Genesis%2040.md#^13); [Jn 15:1](John%2015.md#^1); [Mt 26:27](Matthew%2026.md#^27), [28](Matthew%2026.md#^28)). The baker dreamed of three white baskets upon his head containing baked meats that the birds ate out of the basket, representing human legalistic works and the Covenant of Works under condemnation ([Gen 40:16](Genesis%2040.md#^16), [17](Genesis%2040.md#^17), [18](Genesis%2040.md#^18), [19](Genesis%2040.md#^19), [20](Genesis%2040.md#^20); [Gal 3:10](Galatians%203.md#^10)). The baker was hanged on a tree, illustrating the total liquidation of self-righteous labor under the Law's sentence of death ([Rom 6:23a](Romans%206.md#^23)).

**Moses: Drawn Out of Death and Delivering from Legalistic Bondage**
Moses was born under Pharaoh's decree of death, placed by his mother in an ark of bulrushes daubed with pitch, and laid among the flags by the river's brink ([Exo 2:1](Exodus%202.md#^1), [2](Exodus%202.md#^2), [3](Exodus%202.md#^3)). Drawn out of the waters of death by Pharaoh's daughter, Moses' name signifies "Son of", pointing to the Son of God, as historically he was now her son. Moses prefigures Messiah stepping into the river of death to rescue His people. Later sent to Egypt, Moses confronted Pharaoh's brick-kilns -- where taskmasters demanded bricks without straw -- unmasking the grueling, impossible burden of works-based life apart from Christ ([Exodus 5:6-12](Exodus%205.md)). Moses, along with Aaron, published the Lord's decree, *Let My people go* ([Exo 5:1](Exodus%205.md#^1), [7:16](Exodus%207.md#^16), [8:1](Exodus%208.md#^1), [20](Exodus%208.md#^20), [9:1](Exodus%209.md#^1), [13](Exodus%209.md#^13), [10:3](Exodus%2010.md#^3)) delivering Israel out of the iron furnace of bondage to sin under the Law (the ministration of works and death) into wilderness sanctuary Rest in Christ ([Exo 3:7](Exodus%203.md#^7), [8](Exodus%203.md#^8), [9](Exodus%203.md#^9), [10](Exodus%203.md#^10); [Deu 4:20](Deuteronomy%204.md#^20)).

**The Brazen Serpent: Salvation Through Looking Upon the Crucified Savior**
When Israel murmured in the wilderness, the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and many died ([Num 21:5](Numbers%2021.md#^5), [6](Numbers%2021.md#^6)). In response to Moses' intercession, God commanded him to make a serpent of brass and set it upon a pole, declaring that everyone that is bitten, when he looks upon it, shall live ([Num 21:8](Numbers%2021.md#^8), [9](Numbers%2021.md#^9)). Brass represents divine judgment against sin in the sanctuary ([Exo 27:1](Exodus%2027.md#^1), [2](Exodus%2027.md#^2)). Jesus explicitly applies this type to Himself, declaring that as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: *That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life* ([Jn 3:14](John%203.md#^14), [15](John%203.md#^15)). Christ was made sin for us upon the cross, taking the form of the serpent of sin in our place, so that a contrite look of faith delivers the soul from spiritual death ([2 Corin 5:21](2%20Corinthians%205.md#^21)).

**Joshua: Leading the Host Across Jordan into Finished Sabbath Rest**
Moses, later personifying the Law, could not lead Israel into Canaan; so he died on Mount Nebo, demonstrating that the Covenant of Works cannot give the inheritance ([Deu 34:1](Deuteronomy%2034.md#^1), [2](Deuteronomy%2034.md#^2), [3](Deuteronomy%2034.md#^3), [4](Deuteronomy%2034.md#^4), [5](Deuteronomy%2034.md#^5); [Jn 1:17](John%201.md#^17)). Stewardship passed to Joshua, whose name was changed from Oshea (Salvation) to Joshua (Jehovah is Salvation), the Hebrew equivalent name for Jesus ([Num 13:16](Numbers%2013.md#^16); [Acts 7:45](Acts%207.md#^45); [Heb 4:8](Hebrews%204.md#^8)). Joshua led the host across the Jordan River as the Ark of the Covenant stepped into the waters, halting the flood far back from the city Adam ([Josh 3:15](Joshua%203.md#^15), [16](Joshua%203.md#^16), [17](Joshua%203.md#^17)). Halting judgment far back from Adam signifies Christ arresting the inherited curse of sin ([Rom 5:12-19](Romans%205.md)). Joshua conquered the pagan strongholds of Canaan and divided the land, leading the assembly into Finished Sabbath Rest ([Josh 11:23](Joshua%2011.md#^23); [Heb 4:8](Hebrews%204.md#^8), [9](Hebrews%204.md#^9)).

**Rahab: Extracted from Judgment by the Line of Scarlet Thread**
In the overthrow of Jericho, Rahab the harlot received the spies in peace and hid them under stalks of flax upon her roof ([Josh 2:1-6](Joshua%202.md); [](Hebrews%2011.md#^31)). In return, she later bound a line of scarlet thread in her window as instructed by the spies to mark and spare her household from destruction, gathering her whole household inside her door ([Josh 2:18](Joshua%202.md#^18), [19](Joshua%202.md#^19), [20](Joshua%202.md#^20), [21](Joshua%202.md#^21)). Scarlet signifies substitutionary blood, connecting directly to Zarah's scarlet thread at birth and the Passover blood on Egypt's doorposts ([Gen 38:28](Genesis%2038.md#^28); [Exo 12:13](Exodus%2012.md#^13)). While Jericho's walls collapsed under judgment, Rahab's household stood firm, and she was extracted alive and grafted into the royal lineage of Messiah ([Josh 6:22](Joshua%206.md#^22), [23](Joshua%206.md#^23), [24](Joshua%206.md#^24), [25](Joshua%206.md#^25); [Mt 1:5](Matthew%201.md#^5)). Safety was granted strictly inside the door marked by blood, displaying Christ as the eternal Door of salvation ([Jn 10:7](John%2010.md#^7), [9](John%2010.md#^9)).

**Samson at Lehi: Shattering Cords and the Fountain of Living Water**
Samson, bound with two new cords by his own brethren of Judah, was delivered to the Philistines at Lehi ([Jdg 15:11](Judges%2015.md#^11), [12](Judges%2015.md#^12), [13](Judges%2015.md#^13)), prefiguring Christ bound and delivered by His corporate house to Gentile hands ([Jn 18:30](John%2018.md#^30)). As the enemy shouted, the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon Samson, and the cords upon his arms became as flax burnt with fire, melting away ([Jdg 15:14](Judges%2015.md#^14)). This sudden snapping depicts resurrection power shattering the legalistic cords of death ([Acts 2:24](Acts%202.md#^24)). Slaying a thousand men with a fresh jawbone of an ass, Samson experienced intense thirst and cried unto the Lord ([Jdg 15:15](Judges%2015.md#^15), [16](Judges%2015.md#^16), [17](Judges%2015.md#^17), [18](Judges%2015.md#^18)). God cleaved an hollow place in the jaw and water gushed forth to revive him ([Jdg 15:19](Judges%2015.md#^19)). Samson's thirst portrays Christ's agony on the cross, while the cleaved rock issues the unceasing fountain of salvation ([Jn 19:28](John%2019.md#^28); [Zech 13:1](Zechariah%2013.md#^1)).

**Ruth and Boaz: The Kinsman-Redeemer at the Gate**
Ruth, a destitute Moabitish outcast legally barred from the congregation ([Deu 23:3](Deuteronomy%2023.md#^3)), came to Bethlehem ("the House of God") at the beginning of barley harvest ([Ruth 1:22](Ruth%201.md#^22)), which represents the harvest of believers. She gleaned in the field of Boaz, a mighty man of wealth ([Ruth 2:1](Ruth%202.md#^1)), after whom also one of the temple pillars was named ([1 Ki 7:21](1%20Kings%207.md#^21)), pointing to Christ Who bears up His everlasting Temple. Boaz represents Jesus Christ, our true Kinsman-Redeemer (*Goel*), Who possesses divine riches and legal qualification (as a mighty Man of wealth) to redeem ([Eph 3:8](Ephesians%203.md#^8)). At the city gate (Christ is the Gate or the Door into the heavenly City), before ten elders representing the judicial standard of the Law, the nearer kinsman confessed his inability to redeem Ruth and drew off his shoe ([Ruth 4:1-8](Ruth%204.md)). He represents anyone ("Ho, such a one" - [v1](Ruth%204.md#^1)) of the human race that has no ability or standing to redeem another. So Boaz stepped forward, paid the full price, bought back the lost inheritance and took Ruth as his bride publicly before all of the witnesses ([Ruth 4:9](Ruth%204.md#^9), [10](Ruth%204.md#^10)). This unseals Messiah taking on our human nature and purchasing His Gentile Bride, restoring her lost heritage in the sight of the whole world ([Eph 5:25](Ephesians%205.md#^25), [26](Ephesians%205.md#^26), [27](Ephesians%205.md#^27)).

**David and Goliath: Representative Covenant Warfare in the Valley of Elah**
In the valley of Elah, Goliath of Gath stood six cubits and a span, clad in brass armor and carrying a six-hundred-shekel iron spear, defying the armies of Israel for forty days ([1 Sam 17:1-10](1%20Samuel%2017.md)). Goliath embodies the crushing weight and strength of human pride, Satan, and legalistic condemnation ([1 Sa 17:4](1%20Samuel%2017.md#^4), [5](1%20Samuel%2017.md#^5), [6](1%20Samuel%2017.md#^6), [7](1%20Samuel%2017.md#^7)). David, the ruddy shepherd youth from Bethlehem, was dispatched by his father with ten loaves to look how his brethren fared ([1 Sam 17:17](1%20Samuel%2017.md#^17), [18](1%20Samuel%2017.md#^18)). Stripping off Saul's heavy brass armor (representing fleshly strength and works), David chose five smooth stones from the brook -- five representing divine grace and judgment -- and advanced with his sling in the name of Jehovah ([1 Sam 17:38-45](1%20Samuel%2017.md)). David slung the stone, which sank into Goliath's forehead, and cut off the giant's head with Goliath's own sword ([1 Sam 17:49](1%20Samuel%2017.md#^49), [50](1%20Samuel%2017.md#^50), [51](1%20Samuel%2017.md#^51)). This representative victory prefigures Christ at Golgotha, using the Law of Retribution to destroy him that had the power of death through His own death ([Heb 2:14](Hebrews%202.md#^14)). In a figure, Christ's prayer in Gethsemane was a stone's throw away, using the figure of stoning to demonstrate He suffered the wrath of God ([Lk 22:41](Luke%2022.md#^41)).

**Jonah, Nineveh, and the Sign of Resurrection**
Jonah was cast into the raging sea to appease divine wrath and swallowed by a great fish prepared by the LORD ([Jonah 1:12-17](Jonah%201.md)). From the "belly of hell," ([Jonah 2:2](Jonah%202.md#^2)) in the deeps, at the bottoms of the mountains with the earth and her bars about him forever, Jonah cried unto God and was vomited onto dry land on the third day ([Jonah 2:1-10](Jonah%202.md)). Jesus explicitly names this language as the Sign of the Prophet Jonas: "*as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth*" ([Mt 12:39](Matthew%2012.md#^39), [40](Matthew%2012.md#^40)). Sent to Nineveh, Jonah's unadorned eight-word warning caused the King of Nineveh to step down from his throne, lay aside his royal robe, cover himself in sackcloth and ashes, and command a total fast ([Jonah 3:4-9](Jonah%203.md)). This demonstrates the rapid, unmediated power of the Law (Jonah's declaration of overthrow, and being angry unto death when the Ninevites were not destroyed) and the commandment of Christ to repent producing deep contrition across Gentile outcasts.

**Paul, Onesimus, and Philemon: The Mediator of Imputed Debt**
In the epistle to Philemon, Paul acts as a vivid type of Christ as mediator for Onesimus, a runaway bondservant who had defrauded his master ([Phl'm 1:10-16](Philemon.md)). Writing to Philemon, Paul pleads: *If he has wronged thee, or owes thee anything, put that on mine account; I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.* ([Phl'm 1:18](Philemon.md#^18), [19](Philemon.md#^19)). Paul assuming Onesimus's full legal debt mirrors Jesus Christ stepping between the guilty sinner and the holy Law. Christ places all our transgression, guilt, and debt upon His own account at Calvary (as a finished Work in eternity), legally discharging our liability and restoring us to full union and joint-heirship with the Father ([Rom 4:7](Romans%204.md#^7), [8](Romans%204.md#^8); [2 Cor 5:19](2%20Corinthians%205.md#^19); [Col 2:13](Colossians%202.md#^13), [14](Colossians%202.md#^14)).

**The Unrolling Scroll and the Immediate Reversal**
These historical types demonstrate that creation and history operate under a Courtroom Architecture ([Ps 19:1](Psalm%2019.md#^1); [Rom 1:20](Romans%201.md#^20)). Creation itself is a temporary vesture, canopy, or stage that will eventually be folded up when its redemptive purpose is complete ([Ps 102:25](Psalm%20102.md#^25), [26](Psalm%20102.md#^26); [Isa 40:22](Isaiah%2040.md#^22)). At the conclusion of time, when the final elect soul is quickened and gathered, the physical heavens will depart as a scroll when it is rolled together, clean dissolving the temporary theater to reveal the eternal state where God is All in All ([Isa 34:4](Isaiah%2034.md#^4); [Rev 6:14](Revelation%206.md#^14); [1 Cor 15:28](1%20Corinthians%2015.md#^28), [52](1%20Corinthians%2015.md#^52)). Every shadow in time confirms that salvation is an unearned, finished Work established in eternity, through which Messiah extracts an innumerable host into Finished Sabbath Rest ([Heb 4:9](Hebrews%204.md#^9), [10](Hebrews%204.md#^10); [Rev 7:9](Revelation%207.md#^9).
