For example we read about the apostle Paul in [Ephesians 3:4](Ephesians%203.md#^4), [5](Ephesians%203.md#^5) and [6](Ephesians%203.md#^6) (and following) how the mystery of the Gospel was revealed to him that the Gentiles, too, would come into the body of Christ. And God had talked about this throughout the Old Testament, saying [that Abraham would be a father to many nations](Genesis%2017.md#^5). That was anticipated. And even Jesus had said in [Acts 1:8](Acts%201.md#^8) that the disciples would be witnesses to the uttermost part of the earth. And yet several decades later Paul says that a mystery was revealed to him. God had declared it repeatedly, but then at an appropriate time God opened the eyes of the believers to understand that aspect of God's salvation plan. And ever since the church has understood that we are to go into all the world with the Gospel that the Gentiles might also be an integral part of the kingdom of God. <br> 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. ^10 11 And from the time _that_ the daily _sacrifice_ shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, _there_ _shall_ _be_ a thousand two hundred and ninety days. ^11 12 Blessed _is_ he that waits, and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days. ^12 13 But go thou thy way till the end _be:_ for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. ^13
